Camp Waldemar

Established in 1926, Waldemar is considered one of the finest girls’ summer camps in the United States. This idyllic Texas Hill Country locale is the perfect setting to relax and enjoy this iconic weekend.

Located in the town of Hunt, Waldemar is 125 miles from Austin International Airport and 90 miles from the San Antonio International Airport. The camp features 46 cabins, 7 private rooms located in the main building, and 2 full houses. Beyond having a place to rest your head, the property also offers activities such as kayaking, tennis, pickleball, archery and more.

The Spaces

The elegantly rustic stone cabins, houses, and lodge rooms provide a comfortable place to rest your head.

Bunk Houses

These gorgeous stone cabins feature bunk-style twin beds and can accommodate 4-8 people.

Main Building

Located near the heart of the property you'll find 7 custom spaces featuring twin, queen, and king beds.

Cabins

Throughout the property are premium cabins featuring twin, queen, and king beds and can sleep 2-8 people.

Houses

For larger groups, the 3 and 4 bedroom homes feature everything you could need and can sleep up to 7 or 8 guests.

Accommodations at Camp Waldemar vary by capacity and type. All accommodations are on a first come first serve basis.

  • Cabins: are dorm style rooms with either all bunk beds or bunk beds with a king or queen bed. All cabins have a shared bathroom and shower.
  • Houses: There are limited full house options available. Houses include private rooms with a mix of king, queen, and twin beds. All houses have full kitchens and living rooms.
  • Private Rooms: There are seven private rooms located above the main building. There are queen and king private rooms with shared or private bathrooms and showers.

Pricing is based on occupancy. The list below is a guide to estimate the costs of your group’s accommodations. Final details will be arranged based on your group’s exact size and accommodation type.

This includes instances due to illness, travel delays or cancellations, or acts of God (otherwise known as Force Majeure).
